Super Cool Giveaway!

Last year, I spent from January to September creating new recipes, testing them, taking pictures of the finished product, and then eating delicious food. What I was doing was creating a cookbook for a Christmas present for family and close friends. I got the idea from Michelle who did it the previous year.
My recipe book has 79 recipes including appetizers, soups, salads, vegetarian, desserts, and main dishes. There are color photos of every single recipe. It's valued at $19; that's what it cost me to make each one. It's pretty darn cool if I do say so myself.
I have one left, and the bad news is that it's sitting un-used and unappreciated on my bookshelf, but the good news is that one of you can have it! Leave me a comment convincing me that you should be the lucky winner. If you live away from Irvine, I'll mail it to you.
I will decide the winner on Sunday, March 21st.

oh my goodness! That is so cool! I think I should win because I have a husband who is always nice about my cooking but still is hard to please and I'm always looking for new stuff. I have really started to love cooking over the past couple years. Plus, when we are no longer neighbors it will be something to remember you by!

First of all, I think you are a great cook! Second, I love trying new recipes and it is always great when they have a friends recommendation! Lastly, it would be something to remind me of you when we all move away :(

That is an absolutely fantastic idea that I hope to do someday as well!
I am hoping to be the lucky winner, but unfortunately my own luck is completely out of my control. But I will say that I love cooking, and reading cookbooks, reading and writing in cooking blogs, and watching shows about cooking. if not for fun, then for educational purposes. And I would love nothing more than to add a cookbook written by someone whom I know and love, to my elite physical cookbook collection :P

You are just plain awesome! I am seriously amazed at how generous you are. You are constantly looking for ways to help someone out. I think that they should just change the definition of generous to your name :). Really, you don't need to pick me. I wouldn't want you to have to mail it.

Congratulations- that is so awesome! I was a faithful menu blog post reader of yours. I would love a copy. It will inspire me to organize my own into s book. I miss you and we need good food here in Texas. You can come and stay with us if you are visiting the state (you'd be welcome even if I don't win).

Whew! How's that? :)
